HI Supervisor Training
This course is for high intensity (HI) CBT practitioners who are – or who will be – acting as high intensity CBT supervisors within their NHS Talking Therapies service.
Teaching includes workshop/lecture-style days of online training. Trainees will participate in large and small group discussions, as well as peer supervision and supervision of supervision sessions.
Entry Requirements
For the HI supervision training, you will need:
- To be a BABCP accredited CBT therapist
- At least two years’ experience post-CBT qualification
- To be currently practicing as a high intensity CBT supervisor within an NHS Talking Therapies service (or will be throughout the duration of the course)
- To be able to commit to all 5 days of the training and engage in practice in-between sessions
- To be able to bring recordings of CBT practice and supervision practice for peer group exercises to apply your learning to practice
NB: There is no formal or summative assessment as part of the training programme.
Course Length
Approximately 6 months (part time), consisting of 5 full days of teaching/workshops.
Fee
