CBTp Supervisor training

The programme runs over five taught days. The first four days will be led by the CBTp Supervisors training lead; the others will be led by programme and clinical leads on the programme. It is important that all days are attended. There are no assessments.

Entry requirements

Practitioners must meet the entry criteria stipulated by HEE which are: having an existing PGDip in CBTp and ongoing CBTp supervised practice. Specific CBTp supervision must be at least monthly or being able to demonstrate receipt of generic CBT training (at PGDip level or equivalent) and CBT for psychosis expertise as evidenced by work as a CBTp trial therapist, attending numerous CBTp conferences (post-generic CBT training) and receiving supervision from an expert in the field and experienced and highly competent practitioners of CBT for psychosis who are/started supervising others.
