Health and Wellbeing Network

Politicians, economists and the general public all seem to believe that we need to improve our health, wellbeing and happiness. And yet, the evidence is that in spite of better living standards, we are becoming more miserable and dissatisfied with our lives. Clearly we need a better understanding of the determinants of health and wellbeing, how to assess it, and of the things that might promote it.

The University of Exeter, in conjunction with its new Medical School, Clinical Training (CEDAR), the Mood Disorders Centre (MDC), and European Centre for Environment and Human Health (ECEHH), is keen to foster collaborative research on health and wellbeing.  The first meeting of the new Health and Wellbeing Network was held in July 2012.
