This is a programme for qualified Psychoanalytical Psychotherapists in at least the third year of training, interested in developing the ability to evaluate critically analytic practice and theory. Central to the programme are critical reflective practice and the utilisation of various research methodologies.
The programme will draw upon participants' existing clinical learning and experience and complement this with training in research methods and practice, relevant to psychotherapeutic practice. It aims to help clinicians develop their own clinical work, contribute to the building of an evidence base for psychodynamic practice and influence the development of psychoanalytically informed services.
The programme is made up of a modules that include:

- Major Research Project Proposal
- Major Clinical Research Project
