Systemic Supervision Course
New Specialist Training in Systemic Supervision.
This course will be delivered by a team of highly experienced systemic trainers and teachers, with input from those recognised nationally in the field.
The University of Exeter’s systemic team are delighted to announce that we will be running a Systemic Supervision CPD Course, and is designed to meet AFT requirements for accreditation*, starting in September 2016. This course will provide high quality training in the key skills required to be a systemic supervisor, drawing on a range of models and research, with a particular emphasis on evidence based practice and creative approaches within supervision.
Teaching will consist of lectures, tutorials and a monthly Supervision of Supervision group. Teaching will take place monthly on a Monday and Tuesday at the University of Exeter from September 2016 – June 2017.
3,000 word essay on an aspect of supervision covered in the curriculum
Submission of a recording of supervision with a critical commentary, and an outcome measure of the supervisory relationship
2,000 reflective log of supervision practice and learning and development as a supervisor, and a record of their supervisory practice signed by their supervisor
Who is the training for?
Applicants must have been qualified for at least a year and have experience of using systemic ideas in supervision for at least two years. Please contact us if you have any questions about eligibility.

The dates for the first teaching blocks are as follows:
Week 1 - September 19th/20th
Week 2 - October 17th/18th
Week 3 - November 14th/15th
(15th Nov CPD Day)
Week 4 - December 12th/13th
Teaching is to be held at the University of Exeter, Streatham Campus, Washington Singer Building, Perry Road, Exeter. EX4 4QG.
The cost of the training is not yet confirmed but will be in the following range:
