Staying Well After Psychosis

Andrew Gumley is a Professor of Psychological Therapy at the University of Glasgow. He is a leading international researcher investigating psychological interventions for people with psychosis. He has been at the forefront of developing and piloting third wave interventions for psychosis including Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and has undertaken extensive research into the importance of fear of recurrence as a block to recovery in people who have experienced psychosis, and the importance of attachment as a basis for resilience and recovery.
